His technical acumen and reformist approach earned him recognition as a cornerstone of Somaliland's modern public finance architecture.

In the realm of investment and economic diplomacy, Ambassador Awad made history as the first appointed Minister for the Ministry of Investment, effectively becoming its founding leader. Mr. Abdillahi Yusuf Mohamed is a seasoned Somali executive and statesman whose career spans nearly four decades across public service, international trade, and strategic development. He began his professional journey in 1987 as a Project Coordinator in Somalia's Ministry of Planning before transitioning to the private sector, where he served as General Manager of Maharash Industries and later as a consultant for the Somalia–Italy joint venture Somital. His leadership extended globally as Managing Director of Harsons Trading Company in the United Arab Emirates and Harsons International in Melbourne, alongside representing Adwaa Petroleum by-products in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Over the years, he has advised numerous multinational companies on petroleum marketing, construction technologies, and market entry strategies across Africa and the Middle East. His continental contributions include co-founding the African Development Association in 2009, structuring petroleum consortium initiatives, and chairing the South-South International Trade Promotion Centre, Africa. He currently serves as Chairman of Jubba Valley Corporation and Sibco Asset, continuing to champion economic advancement and cross-border development across the region.

Mr. Aareh is a visionary leader and accomplished professional whose career spans academia, business development, and public service. He holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Development, specializing in Organizational Development, Transformational Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Institutional Building. His academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping his multifaceted leadership approach, combining strategic insight with a deep understanding of institutional growth and human capital advancement. At Amoud University, he served with distinction as a Senior Academic Lecturer, Human Resources Director, and Academic Chief Registrar, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening organizational systems, academic governance, and institutional capacity.

Beyond academia, Mr. Aareh has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial and managerial acumen. As the Founder and Regional Director of Quality Education and Training Consultancy in the Horn of Africa, he has led transformative initiatives in organizational development and professional training. His business leadership extends to founding and directing several successful ventures, including Aare General Trading Co. and Green Moves Partners, a regional logistics and international trading platform. Through these enterprises, he has fostered cross-border trade and regional integration, partnering with global corporations such as Vallis Group, a leading UK-based supply assurance company, and representing major product and service brands across the Horn of Africa.

In public service, Mr. Aareh has made profound contributions to Somaliland's national development agenda. As the Minister of Investment and Industrial Development, he was instrumental in formulating and implementing investment promotion policies, industrial development acts, and public-private legal frameworks that strengthened the country's economic foundation. Highly experienced in regional economy, international trade, e-commerce, logistics, supply chain assurance, and industrial production, Mr. Abdillahi Aareh stands as a dynamic force driving transformational change, institutional excellence, and regional economic integration across the Horn of Africa.

Omar Ali Abdillahi Bade is a senior public policy, diplomacy, and development professional with extensive experience in government leadership, national development planning, institutional development, and international cooperation.

Amb. Omar has served as Somaliland's Ambassador to Ethiopia and previously led the Ministries of Health Development and National Planning and Development, where he contributed to high-level diplomatic engagements, national planning, development partnerships, resource mobilisation, and major government coordination processes. He has also worked extensively as a consultant, researcher, trainer, and academic leader in areas including public policy, decentralisation, institutional development, conflict resolution, disaster preparedness, and education.
